PolyMide™ is a family of Nylon/polyamide based filaments. Produced with Polymaker’s Warp-Free™ technology, PolyMide™ filaments deliver engineering properties intrinsic to Nylon and ease of printing. PolyMide™ CoPA is based on a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. The filament combines excellent strength, toughness, and heat resistance of up to 180˚C.
We recommend that the material be used with PolyBox™ to keep it at dry conditions (relative humidity of 20% or less) at all times to maintain the best printing results.
PolyMide™ CoPA features Warp-free technology
Warp-Free™ - Warp-Free™ technology enables the production of Nylon-based filaments that can be 3D printed with excellent dimensional stability and near-zero warpage. This is achieved by the fine control of microstructure and crystallization behaviour of Nylon, which enables the material to fully release the internal stress before solidification.

Nylon also known as Polyamide (PA) is one of the most popular engineering grade plastics used across a wide range of industries. There are many Nylon materials; Nylon 6 (PA6), Nylon 12 (PA12), Nylon 66 (PA66) to name a few, but generally Nylon offers:

Most brands of Nylon filament can be very difficult to print, warping and requiring specialty glues or surfaces to print.... but not PolyMide™ CoPA!

After a short annealing process parts printed in PolyMide™ CoPA can handle high temperatures up to 180°C. Nylon is one of the most popular engineering materials in the manufacturing world, its excellent mechanical and thermal properties has helped Nylon infiltrate a variety of industries. In the additive manufacturing world, Nylon materials haven’t been as popular as they have a tendency to warp when 3D Printed. Warping is a common issue when printing higher temperature filaments (ABS, PC) without the right temperature requirements however unlike ABS and PC, the reason Nylon warps is different and thus the warping is not easily controlled or prevented with printer settings / heated environments.
To combat this effect Polymaker have developed Warp-Free technology. The secret behind this technology is the fine controlling of the materials microstructure and the crystallization behaviour of the polymer chains. This effect results in all the internal stress that’s caused when printing to be fully released before solidification. This allows users to print on a cold bed; creating a printed part that is dimensionally accurate with zero warpage.

Tolerance: Polymakers custom developed extrusion, control and monitoring solutions ensure filament tolerance (typical tolerance ± 0.02mm) and roundness meet Polymakers strict quality standards.
Reliable Mechanical, Colouring & Printing Properties: Every batch of filament products are tested to ensure all quality specs (melt flow, softening point, mechanical, diameter, round-ness) are met.
Drying & Vacuum Sealing: Before packaging, all Polymaker filaments are dried to a moisture level of < 0.1% to ensure the best printing quality and are vacuum sealed to protect the filament from moisture. All vacuum packaged products are left for 24 hours before boxing to ensure they are leak-free.
Transparent Spool: PolyMide™ CoPA is carefully wound on Polymakers 750g transparent spools. With the transparent spool, it is easy to see exactly how much filament is left for your next printing project.
Resealable Aluminium Foil Bag: PolyMide™ CoPA is packaged in an aluminium foil resealable bag to ensure your filament is moisture free. Like all other Nylon based filaments, PolyMide™ CoPA is hygroscopic so we recommend using this bag for filament storage.
