PolyMax™ is a family of advanced 3D printing filaments produced with Polymaker’s Nano-reinforcement technology, to deliver exceptional mechanical properties and printing quality. PolyMax™ PC is an engineered PC filament combining excellent strength, toughness, heat resistance and printing quality. It is the ideal choice for a wide range of engineering applications.
PolyMax™ PC features Polymaker's Nano-reinforcement technology:
Nano-reinforcement technology is applied to produce filaments with excellent mechanical properties and printing quality. It dramatically improves the toughness of the material by increasing its impact resistance. Click the "Technology & QC" to learn more about how Polymakers Nano-reinforcement technology changes the properties of PolyCarbonate.
Excellent Toughness - PolyMax™ PC offers best in class toughness and much improved mechanical strength compared to ABS and PLA under almost all testing conditions.
Great heat resistance - PolyMax™ PC offers better heat resistance than a wide variety of material types, withstanding temperatures well above 110 ºC.
Improved printability - PolyMax™ PC has been engineered specifically with compatibility and usability in mind. PolyMax™ PC not only offers excellent properties and print quality, but also improved printability.
Quality Control - With Polymakers eight step quality control process and rigorous in-house testing, you can rest assured that PolyMax™ PC will produce beautiful, reliable and accurate printed parts every time.

Industry Leading Quality Control
PolyMax™ PC like all other Polymaker materials is manufactured using state-of-the-art polymer processing technologies and equipment. Polymakers rigorous eight-step quality control process ensures industrial standards of reliability for a consistent customer experience.
Tolerance: Polymakers custom developed extrusion, control and monitoring solutions to ensure filament tolerance and roundness meet Polymakers strict quality standards.
Reliable Mechanical, Colouring & Printing Properties: Every batch of filament products are tested to ensure all quality specs (melt flow, softening point, mechanical, diameter, round-ness) are met.
Drying & Vacuum Sealing: Before packaging, all Polymaker filaments are dried to a moisture level of < 0.1% to ensure the best printing quality and are vacuum sealed to protect the filament from moisture. All vacuum packaged products are left for 24 hours before boxing to ensure they are leak-free.
3kg Spool: PolyMax™ PC is carefully wound on Polymakers 3kg spools.
Resealable Bag: PolyMax™ PC is packaged in a resealable bag to ensure your filament is moisture free. Like all other PC filaments, PolyMax™ PC is hygroscopic so we recommend using this bag for filament storage.

When printing with PolyMax™ PC it is recommended to use an enclosure. For large parts it is recommended to use a heated chamber.
It is recommended to anneal the printed part right after the printing process to release the residual internal stress.
Annealing settings: 100˚C for 2h
