Olssons flagship nozzle has all the features of the original Olsson Ruby but is designed for high temp applications up to 500 C°. The Olsson Ruby High Temperature Nozzle Is made from high conductivity copper and coated with a high performance non-stick chromium nitride surface offering non-stick properties, resulting in smoother and cleaner prints.
The industrial need for functional materials is growing rapidly, and by combining abrasion-resistant properties with heat resistance, you strike two birds with one stone. For users, this means you can print with heat resistant composites, such as carbon-filled Ultem, or PEEK.

SPEED - By using the 0.6 and 0.8mm versions of the Olsson Ruby High Temp it is possible to reach a higher throughput for abrasive materials, while retaining wear-resistance and reliability.

The image to the left is the front face of a ruby nozzle that has printed more than 8kg of carbon fiber filled materials. The lines made by the surface grinding of the ruby during production is still visible, also the thinnest edges are still perfectly sharp. The black specs you see on the inside is just residue from the carbon filled filament. Olsson have since reported customers that printed 50kg+ of highly abrasive filaments without any measurable wear on the nozzle.

Manufacturers can occasionally alter the design of their printers so please note compatibility for any 3rd party products may change without notice.
*1 = You will need to adjust the fan shroud since the nozzle is shorter than the original nozzle.
*2 = You will need to mount it with the nozzle not placed against the front face of the heater block but against the heat break/isolator tube to create a seal.
*3 = Will require disabling of the automatic bed leveling since the ruby tip is not conductive.
*4 = Several testers reports success. Ruby is longer than stock nozzle so Z height needs to be adjusted.
*5 = Adjustment of z-stop required, also see notes on the revision of your Raise3D printer in the Instructions for use
*6 = Lower the heatsink and heatbreak half a turn while the block is hot to ensure a proper seal.
