Offering excellent wear resistance and suitable for temperatures up to 450°C, our 3DPS Precision Hardened Steel MK10 PTFE nozzles are compatible with 3D printers and hot ends using 1.75mm filament and the popular MK10 PTFE nozzle style.

Many filaments on the market such as glow in the dark, metal-filled, carbon fiber filled and glass fiber filled filaments can be incredibly abrasive on the nozzle. With a standard brass nozzle, users will notice a sudden degrade in printing quality as the nozzle tip and orifice is quickly worn away. Our Hardened Steel nozzles offer superior wear resistance when compared to brass nozzles and are a popular choice due to their relatively low cost.

Available with 0.4mm diameter output.

Please note this nozzle does not include PTFE tubing. PTFE tubing can be purchased separately here.

Installation

You MUST heat up the nozzle installed in your printer before you remove it and install your new nozzle. If you do not heat it up, you will damage components in the extruder assembly it is attached to!

Hardened Steel nozzles conduct heat differently to Brass so you may find you need to increase your printing temperature.
