Simulating the stiffness of glass and fiber-filled thermoplastics, Rigid 10K Resin is an ideal choice for precise industrial parts that need to withstand significant load without bending.
Choose Formlabs family of Rigid Resins when prototyping strong and stiff parts that need to resist bending. Parts made from these materials are thermally and chemically resistant and will be dimensionally stable under load, but will experience brittle failure if pushed to their limits.
This highly glass-filled resin is the stiffest material in our engineering portfolio. Choose Rigid 10K Resin for precise industrial parts that need to withstand significant load without bending. Rigid 10K Resin exhibits a smooth matte finish and is highly resistant to heat and chemicals.
The “10K” in the name represents the material’s tensile modulus. If you need a less stiff material, try Rigid 4000 Resin.
*Layer height compatibility can depend on printer model.
NOTE: Rigid 10K Resin decreases the lifetime of resin tanks. Read more about Resin Tank LT lifetime and Form 3 Resin Tank lifetime.

Formlabs materials require proper storage to maximize the usable lifetime. Light and temperature affect shelf life significantly. For optimal results, follow Formlabs guidelines for storing and handling resins.
