New PolyLite PLA colours and world-wide release

Leading hardware and 3D printing filament manufacturer Polymaker have expanded the launch of their in-demand PolyLite™ series of filaments. The PolyLite™ series first launched in Australia and America last year with three general purpose materials PLA, PETG and ABS. To coincide with the worldwide release of PolyLite™, Polymaker have also expanded the available colour range for these materials. The most popular, PolyLite™ PLA is now available in 11 colours, with new PETG and ABS colours arriving in the near future.

In the past year PolyLite™ PLA has quickly risen to become one of the most popular materials in Australia, thanks to Polymakers leading quality control and patented Jam-Free™ technology. Our customers will be very excited that they can now print the full colour range without the risk of nozzle jams commonly caused by heat-creep.” – Matt Tyson, 3D Printing Solutions Marketing

While considered pure general purpose materials; the PolyLite™ series of materials have been formulated by Polymaker to improve upon the 3D Printing experience.

PolyLite™ PLA is manufactured with Polymakers patented Jam-Free™ Technology which increases the softening temperature of the filament, ensuring reliable printing and preventing nozzle jams while PolyLite™ ABS is formulated to print with less odor than other ABS materials.

Users printing Polymakers filaments will likely be familiar with the Jam-Free™ technology which is also integrated in Polymakers PolyMax™ PLA and PolyWood™ filaments.

About Jam-Free Technology

Polymakers patented Jam-Free™ technology dramatically improves the heat stability of their PLA filaments, by combining the latest development in biopolymer formulation and advanced polymer processing technologies. As a result, PolyLite™ PLA filament exhibits a high softening temperature of more than 140 °C, over 80 degrees higher than other PLA filaments currently on the market. So while printing, the filament will never soften in the “cold end” and can melt rapidly once entering the heating zone. This leads to extremely smooth printing and no more nozzle-jams caused by heat-creep! Polymakers other PLA materials, PolyWood™ and PolyMax™ PLA are also manufactured with Jam-Free technology.

Polymakers Jam-Free™ is especially helpful when using:

  • 3D printers with cheap or older extruder designs.
  • 'Higher Temperature' 3D Printers.
  • Dual Extrusion 3D Printers (as the filament sits idle for long periods of time)

Please note that Polymakers Jam-Free™ technology increases the the softening temperature of the filament, not the heat resistance of printed parts. Parts printed in PolyLite PLA exhibit normal thermal properties and heat resistance.

With the PolyLite range of materials, Polymakers advanced filament technology is now available at $39.95!
