Poly(lactic acid) or PLA is one of the most widely used material for desktop 3D printers nowadays. PolyLite™ PLA is a pure PLA designed for reliable printing, consistent performance, low odor, and above all affordable price. The PolyLite™ series of materials have been developed with printer compatibility in mind, making this pure material the perfect choice for your regular PLA printing projects.

Excellent Compatibility: High Quality PLA filament compatible with an incredible range of extrusion based 3D printers.
Jam-Free™: Jam-Free™ technology improves the heat stability of Polymaker’s PLA filaments with softening temperatures over 140 °C. As a result, Polymaker’s PLA filaments show minimal softening in the “cold end” and can melt rapidly once entering the heating zone, leading to excellent printing quality with zero risk of nozzle jams.
Easy to Print: Works well with all common printing surfaces such as the blue tape, Kapton tape, glass, BuildTak, etc. No heated bed or 3D printer chamber required but can be used (up to 60°C)
Safe and clean: Polymaker use only PLA resins from Natural Works for the filaments manufacture.

Jam-Free™ technology

Polymaker Jam-Free Technology

Polymakers patented Jam-Free™ technology dramatically improves the heat stability of their PLA filaments, by combining the latest development in biopolymer formulation and advanced polymer processing technologies. As a result, PolyLite™ PLA filament exhibits a high softening temperature of more than 140 °C, over 80 degrees higher than other PLA filaments currently on the market. So while printing, the filament will never soften in the “cold end” and can melt rapidly once entering the heating zone. This leads to extremely smooth printing and no more nozzle-jams caused by heat-creep!

Polymakers Jam-Free™ is especially helpful when using:

  • 3D printers with cheap or older extruder designs.
  • 'Higher Temperature' 3D Printers.
  • Dual Extrusion 3D Printers (as the filament sits idle for long periods of time)

Please note that Polymakers Jam-Free technology increases the the softening temperature of the filament, not the heat resistance of printed parts. Parts printed in PolyLite PLA exhibit normal thermal properties and heat resistance.

PolyLite™ PLA like all other Polymaker materials is manufactured using state-of-the-art polymer processing technologies and equipment. Polymakers rigorous eight-step quality control process ensures industrial standards of reliability for a consistent customer experience.
Tolerance: Polymakers custom developed extrusion, control and monitoring solutions ensure filament tolerance (typical tolerance ± 0.02mm) and roundness meet Polymakers strict quality standards.
Reliable Mechanical, Colouring & Printing Properties: Every batch of filament products are tested to ensure all quality specs (melt flow, softening point, mechanical, diameter, round-ness) are met.
Drying & Vacuum Sealing: Before packaging, all Polymaker filaments are dried to a moisture level of < 0.1% to ensure the best printing quality and are vacuum sealed to protect the filament from moisture. All vacuum packaged products are left for 24 hours before boxing to ensure they are leak-free.

Transparent Spool: PolyLite™ PLA is carefully wound on Polymakers 1kg transparent spools. With the transparent spool, it is easy to see exactly how much filament is left for your next printing project.
Resealable Bag: PolyLite™ PLA is packaged in a resealable bag to ensure your filament is moisture free. Like all other PLA filaments, PolyLite PLA is hygroscopic so we recommend using this bag for filament storage. 

Plasticizer Free

PolyLite™ PLA is plasticizer free and are produced with one of the most eco-responsible manufacturing processes in the industry.
